Michelle Lopez, LCSW
Sex therapist and Grief Counselor

Not your average therapist. Not your average therapy.

With years of experience in higher education, I believe in the power of being informed and educated. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their feelings, overcome challenges, and achieve personal growth.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in various modalities, including Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and EMDR. I am also certified in trauma and shame-informed treatment, which allows me to address complex emotional issues with sensitivity and expertise.

And I am a fan of tattoos and the physical empowerment that comes from getting ink. Each of my pieces is tied to a story about me. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words and tattoos are no different.

Hello! I’m Michelle, a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker and AASECT certified therapist. With a strong foundation in grief, trauma, and oncology social work, I strive to provide compassionate and effective care to my clients. I hold licenses to practice in both Florida and Colorado, and I am proud to serve a diverse clientele. Fluent in Spanish, I ensure that language is never a barrier to receiving quality mental health care.

In addition to my professional roles, I am a devoted mother and wife, and I embrace my identity as a member of the LGBTQ community. Our home is lively and full of love, shared with a dog and two cats.
