A Passion Project

At Knowledge Is Pleasure, we believe that education is empowerment—and that pleasure, connection, and intimacy are fundamental parts of a fulfilling life.

Founded by a licensed clinical social worker and certified sex therapist, our work is rooted in both clinical expertise and real-life understanding. We know that conversations about sexuality, relationships, and identity are often surrounded by shame, misinformation, or silence. Our mission is to change that.

We create a space where curiosity is welcomed, questions are encouraged, and learning becomes a pathway to deeper self-awareness and more meaningful connection.

Our Philosophy

We approach sexuality and relationships through a lens that is:

Trauma-informed – honoring the impact of lived experiences and creating safety in every interaction
Inclusive and affirming – embracing all identities, orientations, and relationship structures
Evidence-based – grounded in research, clinical training, and best practices
Shame-free – because growth cannot happen where shame lives

We believe that when people have accurate information and compassionate support, they are better equipped to make choices that align with their values, desires, and well-being.

What We Do

Knowledge Is Pleasure offers education, guidance, and resources designed to help individuals and couples:

  • Explore and understand their sexuality

  • Improve communication and intimacy

  • Navigate relationship dynamics, including ethical non-monogamy

  • Heal from shame, trauma, or past experiences

  • Reconnect with their bodies and desires

Whether you're just beginning to ask questions or looking to deepen your understanding, we meet you where you are—with respect, curiosity, and care.

Why It Matters

Sexual health is mental health.
Connection is essential to human well-being.
And pleasure is not a luxury. It’s part of a whole, healthy life.

We’re here to help you learn, unlearn, and grow so you can build relationships and experiences that feel authentic, empowered, and deeply satisfying.
